Incision was a project I had with my friend Tony Särkkä. I played drums, did one of the voices, did some solos too I think..Tony played guitar and bass and did the super-deep voice. Both ran through the harmonizer of a Yamaha REX-50. The solos were recorded with the tape machine on half-speed..that is why those leads sound so fast and clean ;) Since we didn't really know of any other band at the time that did the whole "pornography themed lyrics thing" we went all-in with that and It is also one of the reasons why I never felt completely comfortable with releasing this in any other form that this. I think the stuff is cool, our playing is great, the tracks are catchy and weird..but the lyrics and the imagery is a bit embarrassing, but like I said, for inclusion on a compilation, I think it's alright ;)

This is for sure one of the greatest releases by Dan, so magical, ethereal and beautiful. I’m very happy to have it here on Bandcamp.
The final part of “The likes of no one” always bring me to tears. antoniolopez66
